The PAFF and UW School of Education - enrollment for the 2017/18 academic year

The Polish-American Freedom Foundation and University of Warsaw School of Education announced enrollment of students for a full-time one-year postgraduate course for teachers of Polish and mathematics.

The course is addressed mainly to graduates with MA/MSc in Polish studies and mathematics who want to get qualifications of a professional teacher. The offer is opened also for Polish and mathematics teachers who have been working at school for no longer than 10 years. If there are vacancies, this year the School plans to accept applications also from last-year students of MA/MSc courses, graduates of the BA/BSc courses and graduates of related fields of study.

The School of Education offers its students an innovative program combining theory and practice in the form of a full-time course. The classes are held every day, Monday through Friday, over one academic year (10 months). The students have both lectures and discussions at university and practical classes at schools of all levels. Practical classes organized in cooperation with a network of carefully selected Warsaw schools make a key and integral part of studying at the School of Education.

The course of study curriculum has been prepared in cooperation with the prestigious Columbia University Teachers College, New York.

In the 2017/18 academic year the students will not pay any tuition; applications are accepted by March 31, 2017.
