The Forum is a place for teachers, educators, and science enthusiasts teachers, educators, and science enthusiasts meetings where they can broaden their knowledge, share experience and find valuable inspiration that will enrich the offer of classes conducted by them. This year’s round will also make an opportunity to sum up 18 years of Young Explorers Clubs operation and discuss the factors strengthening the community of over 700 outposts where children and young people carry out experiments and develop their knowledge and imagination.
The event will take place online on Zoom on November 26-28, 2020.
Lectures, webinars, and panel discussions are open; the only exception are workshops which Young Explorers Club supervisors who have registered are invited to. The registration to the workshops will be held online through the links posted on Copernicus Science Center’s site starting from November 17, 2020. The links to all other events are open to the public.
We encourage you to learn this year’s agenda of the Forum on the site of Copernicus Science Center.
Young Explorers Clubs are continuation of the pilot project implemented by Kłodzko Educational Society as part of the “Equal Opportunities” Program in 2002. Presently YECs are managed by Copernicus Science Center. The YEC’s objective is to popularize sciences among children and young people. Their mode of operation allows young people to learn through experience and carry out hands-on experiments using simple and easily accessible materials. The program coordinator at Copernicus Science Center is Zuzanna Michalska.
