The enrollment to the 17th round of competition supporting activity of seniors and promoting intergenerational cooperation is on until May 6. Do you have an idea of how to respond to a social problem? Do you want to engage in social activities and help solve important social challenges? If your answer is “yes”, then this competition is addressed to you!
Under the current round of the competition we are looking for seniors at the age of 60+ who alone or in intergenerational pairs, that is in cooperation with a younger person (18 to 40 years old), want to engage in social activities and respond to important social problems. This year we want to focus on initiatives that help to reduce intergenerational tension, counteract seniors’ loneliness and isolation, or prevent climate change.
If you have an initiative that responds to a social challenge, apply to the new round of “Seniors in Action” competition! When you win you will take part in the training sessions, take advantage of experts’ assistance, and work out your project of a social activity. During the workshops, you will transform your idea into the project that you will implement in your community because you will get a grant for carrying it out.
You will get:
- Two three-day workshops and experts’ consultation that will allow looking into the challenge you have noticed and transform it into a project,
- Support of experienced tutors at each stage of the project implementation,
- A chance to develop your leader skills,
- An opportunity to share ideas and experiences with other participants of the training,
- A grant (of PLN 12,000 – 17,000) for the project implementation.
