ENGLISH TEACHING

The program is addressed to schools, teachers, local leaders and non-governmental organizations. Through training and grant competitions, it supports efforts aimed at improving the quality of English language teaching to children and youth from small towns and rural areas. The program’s rich offer contributes to the professional development of English teachers who are working in small localities.

This undertaking is primarily addressed to active participants of various PAFF programs, supporting development of the local leaders’ skills and qualifications necessary to work effectively for the benefit of their communities. How we operate

The Polish-American Freedom Foundation lends its support under the Foundation programs. The PAFF programs offer the following forms of operation:

Mode of action

Implementing its program objectives, the Foundation cooperates closely with Polish non-governmental organizations. The Foundation programs are managed by selected organizations, while decisions on awarding grants and scholarships are made by commissions composed of independent experts. PAFF, in consultation with its Third Sector partners, develops the program conception, and provides funding for its implementation from its own or external sources. Next, in cooperation with the Program Manager, the Foundation monitors and evaluates the course and effects of the program.

How to get support

Financial support from the Foundation can be obtained under its programs. Those interested shall apply for grants by submitting their applications directly at the given Program Manager. The decision on awarding grants is made by the expert commission established for each program by the Foundation.
