“Do good all year round” – that slogan has accompanied socially responsible companies for the last 25 years. The jubilee round of the Competition for the Benefactor of the Year has been launched recently.
The Competition Committee will select the Winners from among the submitted candidates in such categories as partnership cooperation with NGOs, employee volunteering, acting for the benefit of local community, health, diversity, and natural environment protection.
The objective of the Competition for the Benefactor of the Year is to present the partnership cooperation of small, medium-sized and large companies with NGOs which results in unique social or educational campaigns or valuable employee volunteering projects. The competition shows that good is good regardless of the size of a company and funds donated for charity.
‘The history of the competition reflects the history of Polish CSR and people who created it. For 25 years we have been awarding positive impact of companies on local communities, their involvement in charity and support for organizations or institutions, building broad coalitions around a given social goal or uncompromising attitude towards environment protection, people’s health or animal rights,” President of the Academy for the Development of Philanthropy in Poland Paweł Łukasiak says. The Academy is the manager of the competition.
