The “Road to the scientific development and more” conference held in Łódź on June 3-4 was a great success! The conference was funded by the Polish-American Freedom Foundation and organized by the Educational Enterprise Foundation as well as participants and alumni of the Bridge Scholarships Program.
The 2nd Interdisciplinary Conference of the Bridge Scholarships holders was attended by over 100 participants – former and present Bridge Scholarships holders interested in broadly-taken scientific and personal development.
On the first day the scholarship holders listened to the experts’ lectures, given by Katarzyna Maniszewska, PhD; Prof. Marek Wroński and Prof. Ryszard Kleszcz, as well as scholarship holders’ speeches, who presented the results of their research and shared their scientific interests and passions. The last event on that day was a meeting with the PAFF “Projector – Student Volunteers” Program participants, who spoke with great passion about being socially active and why it is worth getting involved.
The lectures and addresses given by the lecturers-scholarship holders continued on the second day of the Conference. Additionally, there were interesting and inspiring workshops on scientific style of speech conducted by Aleksandra Pawlik, PhD and on making ideas come true conducted by Kamil Bąbel, a blogger, start-upper and traveler.
The organizers would like to thank all lecturers and participants for taking part in the Conference, especially the scholarship holders – volunteers who helped the Educational Enterprise Foundation prepare the event.
Participation in the Conference was free-of-charge, the costs of accommodation were covered by the organizers.
