Do you need reliable materials or information on climate, ecology, and the environment? Reach for a credible source, such as the new version of the Climate and Ecology Knowledge database created by the Center for Citizenship Education Foundation in cooperation with the Polish-American Freedom Foundation.
The database contains materials that can be used in PAFF program activities, workshops, and training sessions, as well as for individual study of environmental topics. They come from both Managers of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation’s programs and other non-governmental organizations, universities, and educators, and constitute a collection of experiences and good practices.
“We hope that the collected data, information, and good practices will help develop activities for the climate and the environment and engage the participants of our programs. They have been prepared for people who want easy access to carefully selected knowledge about the climate, environment, and ecology, as well as reliable information from trustworthy sources,” says Marianna Hajdukiewicz, Program Director of Polish-American Freedom Foundation.
The collected resources include publications, articles, lesson and workshop plans, films, and podcasts, organized by topic into the following categories: climate, ecology and the environment, and pro-ecological strategies.
We also encourage you to use the Code of Good Practice for Climate and Environment, a PAFF publication that collects solutions that help organizations and program participants operate in a more environmentally friendly manner. The Good Practices tab provides information on Polish and foreign organizations working for climate and environment.
Knowledge base on climate and ecology is a part of the Strategy for Educational Environmental Activities in the programs of Polish-American Freedom Foundation for 2024-2026 and sets the direction for proposed climate, ecology, and environmental activities for organizations implementing PAFF programs.
The creator, administrator, and content supervisor of the Knowledge database is the Center for Citizenship Education Foundation.
