About these and other topics in the area of a privacy area, cybersecurity and critical thinking Sector 3.0 Festival experts will talk. The event will be held on May 21-22, 2025, under Reclaiming Autonomy banner. Participation in the Festival is free of charge.

Reclaiming Autonomy
The event will combine in a special way such issues as protection of digital identity or shaping the rules of responsible use of AI with critical thinking, education and digital hygiene as well as responsibility in the world of technology. The program will include such topics as:
- Digital autonomy – issues related to informed technology management and thoughtful decision-making with regard to its impact on everyday life,
- Privacy at the age of artificial intelligence – subjects related to digital identity management, personal data protection and the knowledge of the ways of processing them in the network,
- Cybersecurity – issues related to building vigilance, proper reactions and protection against digital threats such as hacker attacks, manipulation, fake news or deepfakes.
“During the this-year’s Festival we want to jointly analyze how to responsibly implement new technologies that shall support us both in private and professional lives at the times of AI dynamic development,” says Sector 3.0 Program Director Dawid Szarański, PhD.
The Festival will be held in a hybrid form – the first day will be totally online, while during the second day the interested participants will have an opportunity to practically improve their knowledge of subjects presented at the panel discussions. All in all, almost 30 panel discussions, workshops and presentations, including 5 hours of live transmission and 7 on-site workshops will be available for participants. The event will be held at CIC Innovation Campus Warsaw.
Meet the 2025 Sector 3.0 Prize Winner
During the Festival, the Polish-American Freedom Foundation Sector 3.0 Prize of PLN 40,000 will be presented.
“The Polish-American Freedom Foundation Sector 3.0 Prize was established to appreciate those organizations that can use effectively the opportunities offered by new technologies, including AI. We are looking for new role models that can act as practical examples and inspirations helping to set new, responsible standards for the third sector. The prize is a PLN 40,000 grant and promotion of winners all over Poland,” explains Polish-American Freedom Foundation Program Director Radosław Jasiński.

About the Festival
The objective of Sector 3.0 Festival is to inspire and present the trends in the world of new technologies and show how to implement modern digital strategies and tools in everyday social activities in practice. The Festival is attended by people with passion to discover new technologies and share their expertise. They are the representatives of social organizations, technology companies, training and education sector and media. Over 50 Polish and foreign (e.g. from the USA and UK) experts take part in the Festival. The event not only allows the participants to improve their knowledge on the ICT tools use but also gives the community of people who create socially useful solutions the opportunity to meet and share experiences. Over its fourteen rounds there were over 12,000 participants of the Festival and its media exposure was over 17.2 m.
About the program
The “Sector 3.0” program is an undertaking of Polish-American Freedom Foundation and managed by Information Society Development Foundation. Since 2012 it has been supporting digital transformation and the use of new technologies in socially useful activities. The objective of the initiative is to provide high quality and accessible knowledge about technologies so that social leaders could implement positive changes in their neighborhood more effectively. The program has been awarded by the European Commission in European Digital Skills Award competition.
