By April 18, local media journalists may apply to participate in Local Media Day that will take place in Wrocław on May 24 as part of the “Media Forum. Local Development” program. The first such meeting in Poland is organized by the Media Forum Foundation.
Ewa Ewart, an outstanding documentalist, will speak about her comprehension of journalistic inquisitiveness, Andrzej Andrysiak, the publisher of Gazeta Radomszczańska, will tell the participants the secrets of investigative journalism and suggest how to build a network of informers in a small town, and Jacek Pawłowski of TVN24 will present the results of surveys carried out by Media Forum Foundation on local media perception by their communities. Those three workshops will be held under Local Media Day in Wrocław, organized by the Media Forum Foundation.
“We have been inviting local media journalists and editors from all over Poland to workshops for four years. So far, a total of over 300 people took part in them. And now we decided to go to them. We not only want to give local media the opportunity to meet outstanding local and national media journalists, but also to meet and share experiences,” President of Media Forum Foundation Maciej Starczewski says.
Local Media Day will take place at the Mercure Hotel in Wrocław on Saturday, May 24, 2025. Participation in the event is free but since the event is planned for a limited number of participants, the organizers request all interested to confirm attendance by April 18, 2025. To apply, please fill the form.
