The “School with Class” launches its 15th jubilee edition titled “Make Your School a School with Class”. Schools that will take part in the initiative in the forthcoming school year will work on enhancing their image not only as an institution that prepares young people to professional life but also a place where everybody can contribute to the processes of teaching/learning, communication and relations.
The organizers of this initiative will encourage schools to analyze relations, resources, potential and limitations at their schools and to find solutions to the most important problems by working together with the entire school community. The process of change can cover various areas, such as physical and architectural space, social dimension or the use of new technologies. Tasks in this round of the program will be based on the innovative method of design thinking, to ensure that proposed solutions best meet the real needs of the school.
Recruitment to this edition starts at the end of August, but we already encourage you to see an interesting video that promotes the “Make Your School a School with Class” initiative:
The „School with Class” is a nationwide educational initiative carried out since 2002 by the Center for Citizenship Education (presently: the “School with Class” Foundation) and Gazeta Wyborcza daily, in cooperation with the Polish-American Freedom Foundation. Since 2002, a total of over 9 thousand schools, 100,000 teachers and more than one million students have participated in this action! Its objective is promoting a school that prepares students to live in the modern world, encouraging them to undertake new challenges and educating active citizens. The “School with Class” is addressed to all levels of schools all over Poland.
