The Kursodrom.pl is an e-learning platform for acquiring knowledge via the Internet. It is addressed to NGO managers and other people interested in improving their qualifications in NGO management.
Currently, the following six courses are available at Kursodrom: marketing, law, finance, fundraising, strategic planning and human resources management. By June, several other courses are to be added, and ultimately it is planned to run dozens of them.
The courses are divided into modules. You need two or three hours to participate in each of them. All courses are interactive – the user is asked to perform various tasks, assign definitions to the concepts, and answer the questions. At the end of a course a participant may do the test and obtain a certificate of completion.
The platform offers also an e-portfolio – a tool allowing to create the individual portfolio, where the users can publish information about their educational and professional experience and qualifications. It allows to structure educational experiences, share interesting information with other users and create discussion and thematic groups.
Earlier the kursodrom.pl was available exclusively for several dozen participants of the “NGO Managers” (PROMENGO) Program, funded by the PAFF and managed by the Academy of Civic Organizations Foundation, which was established by the PAFF in 2013. “PROMENGO” is addressed to people managing non-governmental organizations and its main objective is to increase their competences in managing through a series of stationary training workshops conducted by qualified instructors, in the form of blended learning supplemented with e-learning.
The kursodrom.pl platform is managed by the Academy of Civic Organizations Foundation and funded by PAFF.
