“Fostering Resilience in Children and Youth” is a free one-year training program supporting primary and secondary schools in building mental resilience of children and young people. It was developed based on many years of experience gained by the School with Class program. Recruitment is open until September 8.
About the program
The undertaking, implemented by the School with Class Foundation, is an attempt to respond to the contemporary challenges faced by the younger generation: loneliness, stress, anxiety, or overload resulting from too many duties.
“We teach how to design school activities in such a way that they bring people together, strengthen their sense of purpose and belonging, and help everyone—students, teachers, and parents—cope with the challenges of the modern world,” explains Marianna Hajdukiewicz, PAFF Program Director.
The program focuses on building resilience in young people and in areas where schools have a real impact: relationships, intellectual curiosity, sense of security, understanding of emotions, mindfulness, and responsibility, in order to work with teachers to create a school environment that truly strengthens students’ mental resilience.
