The Center for Citizenship Education Foundation is enrolling candidates to the new round of the Postgraduate Courses for Education Leaders. The studies are addressed to directors and vice directors of all types of schools at all levels. Applications are accepted by January 31. 2025.
The Postgraduate Courses for Education Leaders, financed by Polish-American Freedom Foundation under the “Learning Schools” (LES) program managed by the Center for Citizenship Education Foundation, are run in cooperation with Collegium Civitas and the National Association of Management Staff in Education (OSKKO).
The program covers 3 thematic areas:
- Educational leadership – understood as one’s own professional development management, in particular in the area of leadership for learning and change,
- Change management – that is diagnosing and planning, implementing and monitoring the implementation process, supporting the effects, and securing its durability,
- Teaching – learning – understanding in what conditions student learns and when teachers teach effectively.
Courses last three terms, from March 2025 to June 2026.
Participants:
- attend eight on-site sessions: four at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw and four at a training center near Warsaw,
- take part in lectures and workshops, as well as use IDs prepared by education experts,
- during the sessions, work in a workshop teams (10–14 people) or a permanent seminar group (5-6 people),
- participate in the online course, and
- once a month, meet online in their seminar group,
- receive the certificate of postgraduate studies course issued by Collegium Civitas.

- Information helpful in supporting young people in learning and in motivating and inspiring teachers in their everyday work.
Thanks to the Postgraduate Courses for Education Leaders, school directors and vice directors develop their competences necessary to run today’s school.
A grant for the studies can be obtained from e.g. National Training Fund or from the funds earmarked for teacher development.
Applications are accepted by January 31, 2025, and shall be submitted through the application form.
