Is there a recipe for effective work at the time of permanent social and technological changes? How can we work smarter and more efficiently in the world where hybrid work and AI are becoming a standard? These and other issues, such as how to minimize social and environmental costs of introducing new technologies, will be discussed at Sector 3.0 Festival, this year held under the Work Smarter slogan, online and in person in Warsaw on May 22-23. Participation in the Festival is free.
During the this-year Festival we will analyze how our work looks like today, how we shall shape new and smart habits that will help us use technologies effectively. We will talk with our guests on using AI for effective individual or team work management, communication and automation.
“The Festival presents today’s trends in the world of new technologies and shows how to introduce new strategies and digital tools effectively in everyday activities,” Sector 3.0 program director Dr. Dawid Szarański says. “This year we will focus especially on the topic of better work, including issues related to individual effectiveness, team cooperation, or technologies and tools supporting us in that change,” he adds.
The group of our experts include Prof. Michał Kosiński of Stanford University, Prof. Aleksandra Przegalińska, Ph.D., of Koźminski University, philosopher and writer Tomasz Stawiszyński, Olga Sztuba of Google Polska, Maciej Okraszewski of Dział Zagraniczny, Inga Apiecionek of Ringier Axel Springer Polska, Grzegorz Markowski and Katarzyna Kasia, Ph.D. of Szkło kontaktowe, Pamela Krzypkowska of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Prof. Katarzyna Śledziewska Ph.D. of DELab UW, Henrik Krogh Andersen of Microsoft, Jowita Michalska of Digital University and Alek Tarkowski, Ph.D. of Open Future Foundation.
Better individual and team work
During this year’s round, there will be a dozen of lectures, discussions and debates on the following topics:
- Individual effectiveness: how to take care of privacy and security at the AI era, what digital skills to improve, how to build good habits supporting work effectiveness while respecting rules of digital hygiene?
- Teamwork: how to manage a team at the time of change, can AI become a member of the team, how to build inclusive teams at the time of digital revolution?
- Change technologies and tools: how to use artificial intelligence for everyday work, how to appropriately select tools speeding up our work and supporting not only effectiveness but also our community and environment?
Again, the Festival will be organized in hybrid formula. The first day will be held only online, while the second day will allow the interested participants to improve at the workshops their knowledge on topics presented in panel debates. The venue of the event will be Kampus Innowacji CIC Warsaw. The participants can attend a total of five hours of live broadcast and seven workshops on such topics as services designing, inclusive teams, self-motivation at work, practical use of AI, and generative language models in social organizations’ everyday operation.
