The “School of Education of PAFF and UW” starts to recruit students

The School of Education of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation and the University of Warsaw starts to recruit students for the full-time one-year post-graduate studies in the 2016/17 academic year. The course will prepare students to be teachers in two specialties: the Polish language and math. Students of the first edition of the studies will not pay any fee. The recruitment process will be carried out continuously by June 30, 2016.

Ten socially involved companies were presented with the “Benefactor of the Year 2016” title at the Gala that took place at the Westin Hotel in Warsaw on June 8, 2016. The Academy for the Development of Philanthropy in Poland has organized the Competition for the 19th time. The Polish-American Freedom Foundation is its founder.

We are proud to inform that the “Fulfilled Dreams” publication of essays written by the Bridge Scholarships holders won the gold medal in „Szpalty Roku 2016 Power of Content Marketing Awards” (“Galley of the Year 2016 - Power of Content Marketing Awards”) competition in the one-time publication category. The awards were presented during the gala ceremony in Endorfina Club in Warsaw on June 3.

The Snieżnik Massif Local Fund, one of the organizations belonging to the Act Locally Centers network, is among the winners of the European Citizen’s Prize 2016. The prize is awarded by the European Parliament every year to acknowledge the work of individual people and organizations that through their day-to-day activities promote European values. The list of this year’s prize winners was announced on June 2, 2016.
