The “School of Education of PAFF and UW” starts to recruit students

The School of Education of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation and the University of Warsaw starts to recruit students for the full-time one-year post-graduate studies in the 2016/17 academic year. The course will prepare students to be teachers in two specialties: the Polish language and math. Students of the first edition of the studies will not pay any fee. The recruitment process will be carried out continuously by June 30, 2016.

On May 10, the members of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation’s Board of Directors met with the University of Warsaw management as well as representatives and staff of the PAFF and UW School of Education. The meeting was held at the UW Center of New Technologies in Warsaw and focused on presentation of the new, joint initiative in the area of future teachers education.

On May 11, the “PAFF Leaders” Program Council selected 41 active social leaders - participants in the twelfth edition of the initiative. Their individual development programs will be supported by 11 experienced tutors.

The Online Teachers Academy program is recruiting candidates. Under the program, teachers of all subjects at all types of schools can take the advantage of e-learning thematic courses informing about methods and techniques of teaching and assessment as well as learning how to apply them effectively in their work with students. Applications for the 2016/17 school year can be submitted by September.
