100 years ago the Poles have restored their state – independent Republic of Poland. The society’s determination, desire to regain liberty, sense of national bonds and common culture gave rise to the 2nd Republic of Poland. She was built by Poles living in three parts, which Poland had been partitioned into – people of various political views, professing various religions, coming from different social classes. Independent Poland was a great achievement of the whole Nation that in pursuance of the dream of independence kept organizing and building foundation for future institutions of the Polish State.
“Today’s Poland is our common good. To the best of our abilities, we will carry out initiatives aimed at decent and joyous celebration of the Centennial of Poland’s Independence. We believe that other civil organizations, social groups, and local governments will join our initiative and get involved in celebration of that great Anniversary,” Paweł Mardoń, the President of “ROTA” Association said.
