The Polish Children and Youth Foundation is recruiting candidates for Youth Leaders Training carried out as part of the “Equal Opportunities” Program. The objective of the training is to improve leadership skills and ability to conceptualize and implement effectively local initiatives for the benefit of young people.
Eligible to apply are young people (16-19 years) who have participated in projects carried out under Equal Opportunities 2016 regional or national grant competitions.
The training includes team work classes, study visits to NGOs – e.g. the Polish-American Freedom Foundation, meetings with experts, and other attractions.
The participants will have an opportunity to get new skills and make contacts with peers participating in other projects implemented under “Equal Opportunities” Program.
Applications shall be submitted by both:
- organization that has carried out a project under “Equal Opportunities 2016” regional or national grant competition. Each organization may propose maximum four candidates aged 16-19 (this-year junior high school leavers, senior high school students or this-year senior school leavers) provided that maximum two candidates of the same project can be qualified to the training.
- candidates recommended by the organization, who have to fill in the application forms themselves.
Application deadline is on April 18, 2018, 12:00 hrs.
The training will be held in Warsaw on July 8-14, 2018.
